Spring Green

My favorite color has always been spring green. Easter was the holiday that I liked best, with its pastel colored eggs and green Easter basket grass, and the spring greens of the new leaves and grass outside. 

After a chilling winter, that seemed to suck the color out of everything,

(even the evergreens looked grey), spring green is  exploding everywhere. It seems more vibrant because winter ended abruptly and spring popped through almost immediately after the last snowdrift melted.

Here's an "ode to spring green" in a slideshow, from my walk with the dogs this morning. Looking at these images makes my soul smile and clears my mind (and this explains that my feeling is also fact).
